Early life

Benedikt Duda comes from a family that was involved in table tennis. His father was also a table tennis player, which created an environment where Duda started playing or training table tennis in his home club at a young age.

– Playing style is attacking: actively looking for opportunities to win, not just waiting for the opponent to act.

Benedikt Duda prihaja iz družine, ki se je ukvarjala z namiznim tenisom. Njegov oče je bil prav tako namiznoteniški igralec, kar je ustvarilo okolje, kjer je Duda namizni tenis v domačem klubu  začel igrati oz. trenirati že v mladih letih.

Najpomembnejše uvrstitve in dosežki

  • 2018 Bron na Evropskem prvenstvu ekipno z Nemčijo
  • V letu 2019 se dokaže kot eden najboljših igralcev nemške Bundeslige v tisti sezoni.
  • S tem postane  prva rezerva glavne nemške trojke (Boll – Ovtcharov – Franziska)
  • Na ekipnem evropskem prvenstvu je l. 2021 v članski konkurenci z nemško ekipo osvojil zlato.
  • Na ekipnem svetovnem  prvenstvu 2022 je osvojil srebrno medaljo (nemška reprezentanca je v finalu izgubila proti Kitajski).
  • Na Evropskem prvenstvu v Münchenu l. 2022 je v posamezni konkurenci osvojil srebrno medaljo, kar je njegov  največji individualni uspeh.
  • V dvojicah je zelo nevaren v levi-desni kombinaciji (Duda + Franziska ali Duda + Qiu).
  • Skupaj s Patrickom Franzisko sta večkratna državna prvaka Nemčije v dvojicah.
  • V letu 2024 je med drugim dosegel polfinale velikega turnirja WTT Champions v Montpellieru
  • Zmaga na turnirju WTT Contender Skopje 2025 → dvig na najvišjo uvrstitev kariere med prvih 10–12 na svetu.
  • Trenutno uvrščen na 8.mesto najboljših igralcev sveta (November 2025)
